Hornpipes - Bouncy yet formal, hornpipes are popular with competitive step dancers who tap out intricate percussive patterns in time to the music.

Airs - Taken from the Irish a cappella singing tradition known as sean nos, the plaintive sound of a traditional, solo air played on flute or fiddle is not soon forgotten.
